Fifth grade students at Douglass get the wonderful opportunity to
participate in Outdoor Education at Cal-Wood.
One of the highlights of our 5th Grade year at Douglass is their annual trip to Cal-Wood
in the mountains west of Boulder for 3 days and 2 nights to participate
in outdoor activities & environmental education. All Cal-Wood
school programs include hiking, field observation, team building, nature
awareness activities and conservation themes. Teachers integrate curriculum standards into all of the selected programs.
Please visit the 5th Grade Outdoor Ed page for detailed information about this year's trip, forms, and deadlines to complete your paperwork.
