The state of Colorado is a top destination per capita for newly arrived migrants crossing the US southern border and traveling north from Texas. In the past year, over 40K migrants have reached Denver, and thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, most items are not needed, however, shoes are an exception - especially children’s shoes. Should you have new or gently-used shoes of any size that you'd like to donate, please drop them off at Douglass between Monday, April 15 and Friday, April 26.

Shoes will then be brought to the Denver donation center the week of April 29.
